Kristin Roskifte

Kristin Roskifte (b. 1975) is a Norwegian illustrator and picture book author. Her illustrations are characterized by great joy in drawing, wealth of detail and warm humour. Her business is diverse and she has, among other things, wrote and illustrated seven picture books. She has received a number of awards for her works, the Nordic Council's Children and Youth Literature Prize, the Wenjin Award from the National Library of China, as well as several golds in the competitions Most Beautiful Books of the Year and Visuelt. Kristin Roskifte has also received the Norwegian State's Artist Scholarship (2007, 2024) and the Booksellers Association's scholarship for children's and youth literature (2004).
